Get your GM truck or SUV's front camber or caster back in spec with these fixed offset upper control arms. Whether you lift your rig 3" or lower it 1" it is going to lose caster. The OE adjusters do not provide enough change, so install SPC offset arms for +2° caster change and then use the OE cams to dial your alignment in and get your drivability back. These arms feature:

Kit includes arms for both the right and left hand side. It can be used for lifted and lowered applications, if you drop your ride height more than 1" it will start to gain caster very quickly. GM's late-model mid-sized 4WD's have very little clearance to adjust the camber and caster with the OE adjusting cams. These specially designed adjusters replace the OE adjusters, and feature a 3/8" square drive hole, allowing fast and easy "on the vehicle" adjustments with any standard breaker bar. The unique design saves time by installing onto the OE bolt - and allows for quick future adjustments.

They are ideal for vehicles which cannot be aligned properly with the factory cam bolts due to installation of a lift or leveling kit. As an additional benefit, they also raise the outer end of the upper control arm, which increases clearance between the arm and the droop travel stops on the frame. This restores droop travel on trucks with leveling kits, and eliminates noise vibration harshness caused by arm to frame contact. Note: Due to strength limitations of the factory upper control arm, this ball joint should not be used on trucks with tires larger than 33" unless a "tall knuckle" lift kit is installed. These heavy duty cams replace the upper control arm mounting bolts. Remove the O.E. bolts and replace with cams, rotating them to provide camber and/or caster adjustment. It may be necessary to remove O.E. slugs and elongate the bolt holes with 74910 punch. 83790 contains 2 cams to cover one side of the vehicle.

Some users find that once they remove the plastic retainer from the original equipment cam on GM trucks, they can't get adjustment to hold. These lock plates are designed to provide a mechanical lock for the cam bolt to the guide pin. Simply dial in your change with the original equipment cam or SPC's replacement kit #86376 and then replace the nut side cam with the lock plate. Use part number 86326 HD GM alignment pins to replace the often abused OE pins. This kit is designed for GM 2500/3500/4500 HD trucks and the 2015 & up Chevy Colorado.
